«KNO | Kyiv Non Objective» has been established to operate as an international platform for abstract arts (NGO) in 2017, founded by Ukrainian artists Tiberiy Szilvashi, Badri Gubianuri, Olena Dombrovska and Serhiy Popov. The author of the concept and the director is Serhiy Popov. The program will run in collaboration with advisory of Billy Gruner (AU), Peter Holm (DK), Roland Orepuk (FR) and TILMAN (DE/US/FR). This group of artists will assist in developing the platform for further dialogue between contemporary reductive and non-objective artist networks, internationally. The present members of the KNO committee are Serhiy Popov, Myroslav Vayda and Tiberiy Silvashi.
The main goals and activities of the organization will be focused on the development of an international multidisciplinary platform for representation of various artistic practices and concepts in the field of contemporary non-objective art, in the categories of visual art, arts, multimedia, music, philosophy and others; contributing to the development of actual tendencies in non-objective art; setting up a dialogue between artists, art critics and representatives of other creative industries.
