BANO, OUR BIENNALE
Our history… BANO (International Biennale of Non-Objective Art of the city of Pont-de-Claix) was born through an encounter; a meeting along with the wiling of the Mayor of Pont-de-Claix Christophe Ferrari, as well as his first deputy Sam Toscano and I (artist and curator) technically assisted by Claudine Sallenave, without forgetting the cultural assistant Corrine Grillet who has joined us since the third edition.

IN A GOOD MOOD
The title “In a Good Mood” could be understood as a bridge to the Russian avant-garde of the twenties of the last century. The then sought-after renewal in all areas of Russian art within the Russian Avant-garde around Kazimir Severinovich Malevich, Mikhail Fyodorovich Larionov, Natalia Sergeevna Goncharova and others finds expression in the works of the above-named artists. The social task of the upheavals in artistic creation at the time is no longer a foreground subject of today’s artists, but nevertheless carries the spirit and spirit of the issues at that time. It is a great pleasure for us all to participate in this international change in the visual arts. In a good mood.
